Across from the second and third parlors is the formal dining room. An antique grandfather clock sets in the easy-access area before the dining room. The heavy mahogany wood of the formal dining table, six chairs, and matching buffets, is deeply grained and has an inlaid border pattern of contrasting wood. Huge leaves could be added to the table for entertaining. The old wiring for maid service call still appears under the table. The pantry and kitchen have not been modernized in any recent time although they are convenient. Almost none of the Muchnic table and silver service remains in the house.
